With the commencement of its inaugural season just around the corner, College of Santa Fe Head Baseball Coach Taylor Gantt is chomping at the bit to reap the benefits of over a year and a half of hard work and preparation. The Prairie Dogs open their season January 31 in Hobbs at the newly renamed University of the Southwest. A formidable schedule awaits a young and inexperienced CSF squad, with 40 out of 49 games on the road, 4 NAIA regional qualifiers from a season ago and one NAIA all-American first baseman.
